BSI takes your privacy seriously. Among our fundamental principles:
• We do not sell our email list. We do not share or distribute your contact information unless specifically stated so.
• We don’t ask you for personal information unless we truly need it.
• We don’t store personal information on our servers unless required for a specific feature, such as delivering a message to your representative, connecting you via phone to your representatives, or delivering a document.
Like many websites, BSI collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. BSI’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how BSI’s visitors use its website.
BSI also uses potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for the purpose of geolocating users to show appropriate actions and content. For example, if you are based in the US, we will use your IP address to show you content we believe are of your interest. However, BSI does not store IP addresses, and would only disclose IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below.
Certain visitors to BSI's website choose to interact with BSI in ways that require BSI to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that BSI gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we may ask visitors to provide an email address so that we can contact them. Those who engage in actions with BSI—by engaging our services, for example—are asked to provide additional information, including as necessary the personal information required to process those actions. In each case, BSI collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with BSI. BSI does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. Visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain activities.
Personal Data is collected for the following purposes and may be shared with the following services:
• Google: including Google Analytics, YouTube, Google Site, Google Search, etc. (see its privacy policy)
In order the use particular features of the site, you may be required to share your personally-identifying information with these third-party service providers for the purpose of enabling the functionality of the site, and in some instances, for example sending a message or calling your representatives, we may give one or more of these service providers limited access to the personally-identifying information that is reasonably necessary to deliver the service.
BSI may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its websites. For instance, BSI may monitor the number of users who've messaged each representative or who've visited a particular page on the website. BSI may display the aggregated statistics or make them available publicly. However, BSI does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.
BSI may disclose potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to third party services, your representatives, contractors and affiliated persons/organizations that need to know that information in order to process it on BSI’s behalf or to provide services available at BSI. Some of those contractors and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country; by using BSI’s websites, you consent to the transfer of such information to them.
BSI will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. BSI discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only in response to a subpoena or court order, or when BSI believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of BSI, third parties or the public at large.
If we are required by law to disclose the information that you have submitted, we will attempt to provide you with notice (unless we are prohibited) that a request for your information has been made in order to give you an opportunity to object to the disclosure. We will attempt to provide this notice by email, if you have given us an email address, or by telephone call if you have provided a telephone number. If you do not challenge the disclosure request, we may be legally required to turn over your information.
If you are a registered user of BSI website and have supplied your email address, BSI may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new activities or events, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what’s going on with BSI and our efforts. We try to keep this type of email to a minimum. BSI takes measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.
A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor’s computer, and that the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. BSI uses cookies to help BSI identify and track visitors, their usage of BSI website, and their website access preferences. BSI visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using BSI’s websites, except for cookies that are essential for the proper functioning of the website.
BSI website is not directed at individuals less than eighteen years of age, and BSI will not knowingly collect or any personally identifiable information from such individuals.
If the BSI website is at some point deactivated, user information will not be transferred to or acquired by a third party.
Under California S.B. 27 (“Shine the Light” Law), California residents have the right under certain circumstances to receive, once a year, information about third parties with whom we have shared information about you or your family for their marketing purposes during the previous calendar year, and a description of the categories of personal information shared. To make such a request, please send an email to info@BSI-consulting.com and please include the phrase “California Privacy Request” in the subject line, the domain name of the web site you are inquiring about, along with your name, address and email address. BSI will respond to you within thirty days of receiving such a request.
For personal data collected from a resident of a European Union member country, or otherwise collected in the European Union, we rely on legitimate interests as our lawful basis for processing. These interests include, without limitation, improving our service, maintaining a relationship with you so that we can provide information to you about our services, and better understanding your relevant interests so that we can personalize our relationship. BSI reserves the right to process your information for all of the purposes set forth in this Privacy Policy, or for which you otherwise consent. You have the right to object to any processing. You may make such a request by contacting us as provided in the section titled “Questions About this Privacy Policy” below.
Although most changes are likely to be minor, BSI may revise its Privacy Policy from time to time, and at BSI’s sole discretion. BSI encourages visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to its Privacy Policy. Your continued use of this site after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such change. Last revision of Privacy Policy: September 2, 2025.
